Overview

Municipal signage has to meet two standards at once: spec-compliant to the inch, and durable enough to serve the public for ten years or more. Fire and police departments add a third — the brand identity matters. Public-safety signage carries authority. Our work has to look right.

We've supplied building identification, monument signs with LED community-message centers, dedication plaques, vehicle wraps for sheriff and patrol fleets, and full station identification packages for departments across the region.

What we do for municipal, fire & police

The signage work municipal, fire & police actually need.

Interior signage & wayfinding

Lobby identification, ADA-compliant room IDs, hallway directionals, and brand-consistent interior signage for stations and municipal offices.

Code & spec compliance

Our work is built to municipal spec, MUTCD where applicable, and ANSI A117.1 for ADA. We document compliance on every install package.

Why clients in municipal, fire & police choose us

Long-term local partner

We're a Loves Park business. Most of our municipal clients have been with us for 10+ years and call us back for every dedication, addition, or refresh.

Spec-compliant, documented

We work in spec format. Drawings, materials, finishes, mounting — documented on every install for facilities records and future maintenance.

Public-safety understanding

We know the difference between a community-message LED and a dispatch board. We size and spec to actual operational use.

FAQ

Municipal, Fire & Police questions, answered.

Do you work through municipal procurement / bid processes?
Yes. We can quote at proposal, RFP, or spec-and-bid stage. We've supplied signage on contracts across Winnebago, Boone, and Cook counties.
Can you match an existing department brand standard?
Yes. Send us the spec — shield artwork, Pantone callouts, font specs, mounting drawings. We replicate department identity to the inch.
Do you do LED message center content management?
Yes — one-time training so your team manages content, or ongoing content management on a service contract (typical for fire districts running community-alert messaging).
