Overview

The backwall is the single most-photographed piece at any event — press conferences, awards ceremonies, product launches, red-carpet step-and-repeat. Every photo taken in front of it becomes brand collateral. That's why the print quality and the seam management matter more here than anywhere else in your kit.

We build backwalls on the Orbus Formulate tension-fabric platform. Straight, curved, S-shaped, and shaped configurations up to 20 feet wide. The graphics are printed dye-sub in one continuous piece (no visible seams), then pulled taut over an aluminum frame. Setup is 15–20 minutes; teardown is 10. Everything packs into a rolling case.

What we make

Every variation of backwalls, backdrops & step-and-repeat we produce.

Backwall configurations

  • Straight 8ft × 8ft / 10ft × 8ft (10×10 booth back)
  • Straight 20ft × 8ft (10×20 booth back)
  • Curved (concave or convex) for softer sightlines
  • S-shaped and serpentine for premium exhibits
  • Shaped (arch, wave, custom silhouette) for hero brand moments

Step-and-repeat backdrops

  • Tiled logo pattern for press and photo walls
  • Straight 8ft or 10ft wide (single-photographer)
  • Straight 16ft or 20ft wide (multi-camera press)
  • Portable — sets up in 15 minutes, packs into rolling case
  • Reprint the graphic when sponsors change

Our process

How CorPro produces and installs backwalls, backdrops & step-and-repeat.

  1. 01

    Sightline consult

Where will people stand relative to the wall? What's behind it (open aisle vs. adjacent booth)? That shapes straight vs. curved vs. shaped.

  2. 02

    Design + proof

Full mockup at final print size. For step-and-repeat, we show the logo tile density at photo distance so you know how it reads on camera.

  3. 03

    Print + build

Dye-sub printed graphic pulled over an assembled tension-fabric frame in our shop; QC before shipping.

  4. 04

    Ship or set up

Ships in a rolling case. For premium shows and press events, we can send an installer.

FAQ

Backwalls, Backdrops & Step-and-Repeat — common questions.

Not seeing your question? The fastest way to get an answer is the quote form — we usually respond within a business day.

How many logos per step-and-repeat?
For a single-photographer wall, 4-across × 3-tall (12 logos visible) reads well at photo distance. For multi-camera press walls, 6-across × 4-tall (24 logos) covers the whole shot.
Can I reprint just the graphic if sponsors change?
Yes — that's the biggest reason to buy tension-fabric over a printed vinyl banner. The aluminum frame is a lifetime investment; the graphic is the reprint item.
What's the lead time?
2–3 weeks for a first-time build (frame + graphic). Reprint graphics for existing hardware: 5–7 business days.
Do you install for press events?
Yes. For a press conference or awards event where the wall has to look perfect on camera, we can send an installer for setup and takedown. Costs typically $250–$450 depending on location.
